At Designs by Ash, LLC, my goal is to provide compassionate, safe, and professional care while respecting the needs of every client. Because I provide specialized mobile hair and medical nail services in private homes, hospitals, hospice, and care settings, the following policies help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone.
Scheduling & Appointment Flexibility
As a mobile provider, travel time, weather, traffic, hospital visits, and unforeseen circumstances may occasionally affect my schedule.
- Appointment times may need to be adjusted slightly earlier or later on the same day.
- In rare situations, appointments may need to be rescheduled.
- Clients are expected to allow reasonable flexibility with scheduling.
I make every effort to arrive on time and communicate any changes as soon as possible. Respectful communication is expected from both parties. Abusive, threatening, or hostile behavior regarding scheduling will result in cancellation of the appointment and may result in refusal of future services.
Client Safety & Caregiver Requirements
Your safety is always my highest priority.
While I provide professional hair and medical nail services, I am not a medical caregiver and cannot:
- Lift or transfer clients
- Assist with walking or mobility
- Help with restroom needs
- Physically reposition clients
If a client requires assistance because of limited mobility, dementia, cognitive impairment, disability, medical condition, or any other circumstance that affects their safety, a responsible caregiver must remain present throughout the entire appointment.
If a required caregiver is not present upon arrival, the appointment cannot be performed. The scheduled service fee will still apply and must be paid before another appointment can be scheduled.
Safe Environment Policy
For everyone's safety, services can only be performed in a safe working environment.
Appointments may be stopped or immediately terminated if:
- Physical or verbal abuse occurs.
- Threatening or aggressive behavior is displayed.
- Anyone attempts to interfere with the service.
- An uncontrolled or aggressive animal creates an unsafe environment.
If an appointment must be ended for safety reasons, the full service fee remains due because the appointment time was reserved and travel has already been completed. Depending on the circumstances, future services may be permanently declined.
Allergies & Medical Conditions
Please inform me before your appointment of any known allergies, sensitivities, or previous reactions to hair color, perms, or other salon products.
Although every effort is made to provide services safely, Designs by Ash, LLC cannot be responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities that were unknown or not disclosed before the service.
Agreement
Booking an appointment means you understand and agree to these policies.
