I'm a Missouri- and Kansas-licensed Cosmetologist & Medical Nail Tech with 37 years of experience and 13 years specializing in mobile care. Over the years, my work has grown far beyond traditional salon services. I specialize in caring for people who may have difficulty getting to a salon, including hospice and bedridden clients, individuals living with dementia or autism, those with physical or cognitive disabilities, and clients who are homebound or hospitalized. I've built my business through referrals from hospice organizations, podiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals who trust me to provide compassionate, specialized care where their patients need it most.
My training and certifications let me offer more than traditional salon services. In addition to hair care, I'm a Medical Nail Technician, Advanced Nail Technologist, Certified Clinical Podiatric Medical Assistant, and Certified Toenail Restoration Specialist. With specialized training in clinical foot and nail care, I bring the skills and attention to detail you would expect in a podiatric setting directly to my clients' homes, bedside, or hospitals.
I'm also certified in hospice, dementia, autism, health and social care, and working with severe physical and mental disabilities & sensory disorders. As someone who understands sensory challenges personally, I know how important patience, communication, and adapting my approach can be. I also specialize in severely matted hair, and I am a certified Aging Dementia Grief Coach. I hold diplomas in Public Relations, Business Management and Human Resources as well.
For me, this business has never been simply about hair or nails. It's about dignity, comfort, confidence, and quality of life. Everyone deserves to feel cared for and good about themselves, regardless of their age, abilities, diagnosis, or stage of life. I'm proud to have been considered an essential business in both Missouri and Kansas during COVID, and I continue to invest in my education, certifications, equipment, insurance, and the mobile environment I bring to every client.
